3rd Annual RAMONES Memorial
The proceedings will be hosted on 06/29/2007 by Linda Ramone; and both Marky Ramone & Henry Rollins will be on hand to introduce the evening. If you have never been to one of the events at the cemetery, please know you are allowed to bring food and drink. It's a proper nocturnal picnic so bring a blanket, spread the goodies and prepare for a lot of fun. A $10.00 donation is requested to benefit Prostate Cancer Research. El Farolito
When i think of El Farolito I think of a baby sucking on it's pacifier and by baby I mean El Farolito's food and by pacifier I mean donkey balls. The chicken tacos that i ordered sucked so bad that I forgot to take a picture of them. The tacos were dry and came with some dry ass tortillas to boot. The condiments (chopped onions, limes, cilantro and chopped tomatoes) came in a separate bowl and sucked just as hard. Do yourself a favor and go to Hugo's taco truck just up the street on 3rd and Indiana for some kick ass tacos.

The Switched Questionnaire: Parker Posey

Are you getting an iPhone -- if so, why?
No, it doesn't make sense.
What's the longest time you've ever spent playing a video game in one sitting and what game was it?
Are you kidding?

Cantaloop
Someone needs to take me to Cantaloop so that I can try it out. I'm looking kind of 'rexic.

NO DOUBT REUNION
No Doubt reunion that happened Fri. 06/22/07 a little before 11:30 p.m., as Gwen began her encore to the screaming delight of a capacity crowd, it had become a reality: No Doubt had returned to the stage.
The group - including smiling, clearly thrilled Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont and Adrian Young - performed just three songs ("Just a Girl," "It's My Life" and "Spiderwebs") to conclude Stefani's first of two shows at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater this weekend.

MIRACLE MILE
Los Angeles Destroys Itself highlights five classic disaster epics set in the City of Angels. As Thom Andersen suggests in his 2003 film-essay Los Angeles Plays Itself, "the entire world seems to be rooting for Los Angeles to slide into the Pacific or be swallowed by the San Andreas fault," and Hollywood has delivered in spades. Join us for a five-film series in which the sprawling metropolis, its citizens and its landmarks are threatened and attacked in innumerable ways, from earthquakes to nuclear missiles, from a comet to a conservative regime—even giant radioactive ants! Click here for info.
