Protect Your B-a-n-a-n-a-s

The Banana Bunker is a flexible, plastic device that prevents your bananas from being bruised.

It fits almost any size banana due to its innovative design featuring open end caps (to allow thin ends to stick out) and a flexible and detachable mid-section.

What Get Me for Christmas

The Cathode Corner Nixie Watch displays the time on nixie tubes, which are quaint neon display tubes once used in calculators in the dawn of recorded history (1969). It is a two-digit wristwatch designed for everyday use, being water-resistant and rugged.

The watch requires no button pushing to operate - it shows the hours, minutes and seconds in sequence at the flick of the wrist.

For the hardcore code tweaker, a programming adapter allows the GPL'd PIC firmware running the watch to be hacked up at will. The source code is available on the firmware page.

Wizard Rockumentary

Why... I mean, ... why?

Like so many others, we are dedicated Harry Potter fans and have long been wishing for a way to contribute to the wizarding community. The opportunity presented itself when we realized that Wizard Rock, which has brought us so much enjoyment, is still relatively unknown to the vast majority of HP fans. So, in celebration of the HP music scene, we decided to create The Wizard Rockumentary: a feature length documentary on Wizard Rockers and the HP following (think "Trekkies" but way cooler because it's Harry Potter!). We hope that this documentary will expose the wizarding community to the joy that is Wizard Rock! (Excerpt from www.wizardrockumentary.com)

Tin Man To Be Lead By Zooey Deschanel

Tin Man is a sometimes psychedelic, often twisted and always bizarre take on The Wizard of Oz. It centers on DG, a young woman plucked from her humdrum life and thrust into The Outer Zone (the O.Z.), a fantastical realm filled with wonder, but oppressed by dark magic. DG discovers her true identity, battles evil winged monkey-bats and attempts to fulfill her destiny. Her perilous journey begins on the fabled Old Road that leads to a wizard known as the Mystic Man. Along the way, she is joined by "Glitch," an odd man missing half his brain; "Raw," a quietly powerful wolverine-like creature longing for inner courage; and "Cain," a heroic former policeman (known in the O.Z. as a "Tin Man"), who is seeking vengeance for his scarred heart. Ultimately, DG's destiny leads her to a showdown with the wicked sorceress Azkadellia, whose ties to DG are closer than anyone could have imagined. Written by SciFi Wire

They have learned to make tacos in China. Now, it's only a matter of time before all the brown brothers in taco trucks are out of work.

TIFFANY BRISSETTE
Age: 32 \\ Best known as: Vicki the Robot on Small Wonder
The plot—an engineer builds a robot that looks just like a 10-year-old girl and “raises” her in his home—was absurd, and the production quality laughable. What made Brissette’s Vicki so memorable were the machine’s awkward attempts to fit in. “There were times when I’d try to sneak human emotion into the scene,” explains Brissette, “and my producers would always say ‘No, no! You’re a robot!’” She still finds herself drawn to human feelings, working as a nurse in Boulder, Colorado.
