August 24 - August 26Some of the jewels of Latin American cinema—an industry stretching back to the silent era that has produced thousands of commercial and art-house films and a galaxy of stars virtually unknown outside the Spanish-speaking world—will be celebrated at LACMA on the occasion of the exhibition The Arts in Latin America, 1492–1820.
